SPAM DETECTION & TIME SAVERS
Even well-structured queries will generate web "spam." How to avoid it:
1. Go to the green - Before clicking on a result, make it a habit to check the actual URL, which Google displays in green. While the page title may mislead, the URL rarely does.
One tell-tale sign of spam is lots of dashes in the URL: www.best-bookstore-in-Jakarta.com
2. Skim the snippet- In Google's auto-generated text summaries, ellipses (...) between your search terms means they do not appear together on the page, suggesting irrelevance.
